Layton Interchange

HADCO Construction is a major subcontractor in the South Layton Project, a $61 million design build project on the border of Layton and Kaysville cities. The general contractor is Ralph L. Wadsworth.
The project consists of constructing a new Single Point Urban Interchange between the Kaysville 200 North Exit and the Layton Hill Field Road Exit. Two miles of Interstate 15 will be widened to accommodate the extension of the HOV lane north. Construction should be complete by Thanksgiving of this year.

Employing the HADCO Train concept, HADCO Construction is oversees infrastructure work for Boyer Cottages, a Boyer Company housing development in South Jordan, Utah.

HADCO’s role in developing the 120 acre project includes: road creation, paving subdivisions, lot development by digging basements, installing sewer lines, concrete, flatwork, foundation and miscellaneous water work.
The residential development is part one of the largest mixed-use developments of its kind in Utah and features a unique blend of design and architecture.

Bellevue – Ivory Homes in Draper

Bellevue Home Estates sits on the east side Draper, Utah and is an Ivory Homes project. HADCO Construction was enlisted to oversees infrastructure work by providing all site development.

According to HADCO President John David Hadfield, what would take the average builder 21 days to accomplish, HADCO can complete in 13 days. “We can take the homebuilding process from the dig, to pouring the basement floor, to getting the plumbing done with no lag time between processes. Because the crews are all ours, the process is seamless.”

New Military Housing at Hill AFB

HADCO Construction is part of a team constructing 389 new housing units at Hill Air Force Base near Ogden Utah. Working as a subcontractor with the Boyer Company, HADCO is providing development work for the two, three and four-bedroom unit duplexes. The homes will be built over the next six years, while other units are scheduled for major and minor renovation.

The 21st South Freeway is an east–west expressway in Salt Lake City, Utah. HADCO Construction was charged by the Utah Department of Transportation to improve the 2100 South Freeway from the Jordan River west to the Bangerter Highway. Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction was the design-build contractor on the project.

The freeway from Bangerter Highway to 5600 West was widened to three lanes in each direction and the road between SR-202 and I-80 was widened to four lanes.

The US-89 State Street Railroad Bridge Project in Pleasant Grove consisted of constructing a new bridge carrying traffic from State Street over the Provo Industrial Lead Railroad Track.

HADCO Construction, a subcontractor of Ralph L. Wadsworth, assisted with the installation of 7,500 ft of pipe, 300,000 tons of dirt, 48,000 sq ft of MSE Retaining Walls, and relocate 1900 ft of railroad track.

HADCO Construction was selected by the Utah Department of Transportation to build the Utah County segment of the Mountain View Corridor.

The three-mile construction area on 2100 North from Redwood Road to I-15 in Lehi, Utah consists of constructing a frontage road system of two lanes in each direction with signalized intersections, building four new bridges spanning the Jordan River, and site preparation for a future FrontRunner rail line. The project is slated for completion in the Fall of 2011.

The Mountain View Corridor is a planned freeway, transit and trail system in western Salt Lake and northwestern Utah counties, servicing 13 municipalities in the project area. To meet projected transportation demands in the year 2030, the full build-out includes a freeway that connects with Interstate 80 at 5800 West in Salt Lake City in the north and Interstate 15 at 2100 North in Lehi in the south. The transit component of the project is a high-capacity service line on 5600 West in Salt Lake County that connects with both the planned Airport Extension at the International Center and Mid-Jordan Line in South Jordan.
